This is a set of eight LED pearl light in two strings of four pods that are around 1 meter long each.
Each pod has a red and a blue LED in it that light up at different times. As the red LED dims the blue LED will light so as the two colour meet at their middle point you will see a mix of red and blue showing as purple.
I have seen these fitted under the rear panniers of a GL1500 and they look very affective as they shine on the ground.
The size of each pod is about equal in size to a stack of nine 10p pieces.
The time for this light pass through its complete cycle is around eight seconds
